Would you like a Mainstays Enamel stockpot or a dutch oven?

** 11.16.11.  Who won?  Who won?  Who won?  Congratulations to #5 Angie (you won the 8 qt stock pot), #8 Bonnie (you won the 6qt w steamer), and #22Kelly (you won the 5qt dutch oven)!  I will be contacting you for a mailing address.  Thank you to everyone to who participated.  Don’t forget that this great value is available at your local Walmart, while supplies last! ~Lyndi **

I love a great value on something of value.

I love a great value on something of needful value.

I love a great value on something of beauty, usefulness and needful value.

For a limited time, Walmart has three particular items on their shelves right now that are both a great value and beautiful.

For a limited time (that means hurry up and find them before they are gone!) you can buy a Mainstays enamel 8 quart enamel stockpot with lid, 6 quart enamel stockpot with lid and steamer, or the 5 quart enamel dutch oven with lid.

All in this deeply gorgeous red Sedona color.

What’s so great about these?

: Easy to clean, durable porcelain on steel
: Uniform heat distribution with stay-cool handles
: See-through, tempered glass lid – heat & shatter resistant
: Dishwasher safe

You may have to sleuth around your local Walmart store to find these beauties.  They are located within the home goods department either on an endcap, in-line, or in the “hot spot” area up front where they highlight a themed store-within-a-store.  If you can’t find it, ask a Walmart Associate for help.  Maybe even print this off and bring it with you.

What’s the great value?

Any size is just $24. Any size!

What’s so great about my telling you about them?

I have one of each to give away!

  2. Hey Lyndi, Great options. I would love the 6 or 5 quart. I have so few pots and pans I sometimes have to wash something to continue cooking. And I don't have a microwave by choice so all my cooking is done on the stove. Thank for the chance at one of these.

  4. I would love these! I've come across several dutch oven recipes lately that I'd like to try. And with winter coming, a stock pot for making my own soup would be perfect!

  6. Dutch ovens are the perfect outdoor pot. On campouts you can bury it in coals and slow cook just about anything.

  7. With all of the hungry mouths that come through my kitchen, I would love any of these! But, if I had my choice, I would choose the 6 qt with the steamer. I've never really had a good steamer, but have always enjoyed my mother-in-law's delicious steamed veggies. This way I could cook up delicious roasts, stews, chilis...and try out something new, too!

  9. These would be wonderful for making homemade Chicken Stock and all the yummy foods that we cook with it! We'd probably make nice, hot Russian Tea for the Holidays, too.

Hmmmmm....how does one choose between two great pots!? Guess I will go with the dutch oven--simply becuase I don't have one and have always wanted one. A great option for making soups and other dishes stove-top OR in the oven.
