***** Winner update: Elizabeth Toll, lucky #11 and Undernehr, lucky #12 both won a bag of Lewis & Clark coffee! Congratulations ****
Hellooo Wednesday.
Hellooo Wednesday.
Welcome
to Day 6 of this lovely, lovely, week of thank you giveaways.
You still have time to participate in Day 2, 3, 4, and 5. It feels great that this blog has turned 3 years old.
Today’s giveaway comes courtesy of Lewis & Clark
Provisions Co. and their line of whole bean coffee inspired by the great
outdoors. This deeeeeeply rich coffee is bought in bulk directly from farms in
Guatemala, instead of going through a coffee broker. This way they ensure the farmer is getting his fair share
and they have first hand knowledge about the quality and freshness of the
coffee beans. Roasted in Fayetteville
by a horticulturalist at the UofA, it is not uncommon for these beans to go
from farm to shelf in less than two weeks. 2 weeks!!
Currently there are four coffee bend offerings: Yellowstone Base Camp Blend (light
roast), Continental Divide (medium roast), Missoula (medium roast), and
Gunnison (dark roast). Lewis & Clark coffee is available at all three Lewis
& Clark locations, Bentonvile Harps, Fayetteville Harps, Harber Meadow
Harps, and the Pinnacle White Oak Station.
Prize:
Two (2) lucky someone’s will be receiving a bag of
whichever blend they desire, light, medium, or dark. You call it!
Contest ends next Monday, September 17th at midnight (CDT). I will pick a winner via randomizer.
Eligibility:
Leave me a comment with your name, email, blog, facebook,
or twitter name so I contact you if you are the winner (need help on how to leave a comment?).
Comment
question:
Q: How important is coffee to your daily life or special
occasions? What is your favorite
way to enjoy a great cup of coffee?

I don't want to imagine a world that doesn't include my morning cup of coffee. Also, I love writing in the evening with a cup.
ReplyDeleteThere is something to be said about the experience surrounding a great cup of coffee!
DeleteI also tweeted and FB'd. Thanks!
ReplyDelete+ 1 extra entry for tweeting!
Delete+ 1 extra entry for facebooking!
DeleteI look forward to my coffee every morning! I like it with just a dash of cream.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is truly an early morning treat!
DeleteCoffee is a pleasure drink for me rather than something I *NEED* to wake up or start my day. That said, I still drink it pretty frequently!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it that Ryan Reynolds said about his coffee in the movie, The Proposal? Ah yes, "it's like Christmas in a cup!"
DeleteI cannot fully start my day without my coffee! My morning ritual starts with putting the pot on to boil, assembling the french press and grinding some dark roast beans! I love to sit in the sun room and enjoy my first cup if I have time :-)
ReplyDeleteA french press = nice. Actually, I have some L&C coffee and that is exactly how I enjoy it, on a french press. My everyday coffee goes in the percolator.
DeleteYour ritual sounds lovely!!!

ReplyDelete+1 extra entry - thank you!
DeleteCoffee isn't my thing but my husband loves a good pot of coffee to start his day, and his day starts very early. He bought 3 different coffee makers this year until he found just the right one.
ReplyDeleteLucky for you, he found it... or did he... perhaps L&C coffee is really the right one???
DeleteI am a SERIOUS coffee lover. I used to stand in a line around the corner at Peet's Coffee in San Francisco instead of bopping into the numerous, no line included, Starbucks. Because... Peet's had better coffee. Best coffee I ever had... at Turtle Bay on Kona drinking Kona coffee. Yes, my life is charmed. Best coffee now? Anything brewed in my French Press. Amazing coffee. Mmmmm... coffee.
ReplyDeleteAgain, french press = perfect coffee moment!
DeleteYou are, indeed, a SERIOUS coffee lover! LOVE that! Best coffee ever had was Kona when I was in Kona! A trend!
You have to try this coffee and let me know what you think.
Lyndi,
ReplyDeleteI think I must have thought that you had live links in the listing at the bottom of the post. The share link works as well. We are in NWA this weekend so no WWFW festival for us this year. Sad:(
Thanks for letting me know!
DeleteNo WWFW festival, so sad for you. In NWA for this weekend, so happy for you!
Hey thanks, I've been looking for locally roasted coffee. I'll have to give it a try. Elizabeth Toll via Google+
ReplyDeleteGreat, hope you like it!
DeleteI don't drink coffee much, but my husband has to have it every morning to wake up.
ReplyDeleteThis would be a nice gift for him.
DeleteI don't drink coffee everyday. I drink it more for pleasure than out of necessity. It's especially yummy on a cold winter's day with a shot of creamy Bailey's!
ReplyDeleteYou're so coffee-foodie!
DeleteI posted it on Facebook, too. But it wouldn't let me tag you!
ReplyDelete+1 extra entry
DeleteThat's okay, that just means we aren't following each other. Follow me on nwafoodie and I will follow you back. Thanks!
I like it as a special treat for the most part, but some days it is a definite necessity!
ReplyDeleteIt's always a necessity, Brooke! :)
DeleteI love lewis and clark, plus they get a lot of my money
ReplyDeleteAnd I know you are totally outdoorsy, so this coffee would be perfect at the campfire in a stainless steel percolator!
