The Arkansas Democrat Gazette made my pantry famous.

And it’s getting so arrogant and hoity toity and demanding that I replenish it more often.

Shesh.

Every Saturday the Arkansas Democrat Gazette highlights a favorite personal space in their HomeStyle section and my pantry (along with yours truly) was in the latest issue!  It was a blast to be interviewed by Arkansas Democrat Gazette reporter Tracy Rogers and then photographed and filmed by nwaonline photographer David Gottschalk.

My Sonny Salt addiction.

Hello.  My name is Lyndi.  I am addicted to Sonny Salt.

Help me. I can’t stop using this seasoning on everything: eggs, potatoes, turkey burgers, zucchini, squash, chicken, beef, you name it.

No, not in ice cream.

Yet.

My siblings rock the creativity world.

My brother lives in Hawaii and posts photos on his facebook page that will have you marveling about how can one person’s life be soooo interesting.  My oldest sister is a super-successful author and entrepreneur who travels the world (literally) teaching polymer clay classes and has so many exciting projects going on that it makes me tired just thinking about it.  Then there is my other sister whose etsy shops are wildly popular.  She single-handedly designs about 90% of my jewelry box.

Let’s talk about her today.

Living in thankfulness.

nwafoodie living in thankfulness

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with traditions, joy, laughter, and a bounty of special foods.  Best of all, I hope it was a special day of giving thanks for the blessings given to all of us, small and large.

May we live every day with thanksgiving.

Today marks one month since my last post.  Sorry about that.  I realized that many of you may not be following me on my facebook page and may not be aware that my days are recently filled with a very sick dad.  Every moment with him I am thankful for.

So, today I propose that we live every day as Thanksgiving Day!  That we look forward to it with the same kind of excitement as planning that one big meal.  That we plan out the basics of what we want in life yet go with the flow to capture special moments.  That we all pitch in together to make meals together special.  And do it often.

And yes, I propose that we live filled with the thankfulness of abundance.

Every day.

May you have a wonderful thanksgiving day today, and tomorrow, and Sunday, and Monday, and every day.

Hugs,

Lyndi

Eat well, my friends. Eat well.
