Have you checked how much the press holds? They say 27oz but is that all the way to the top or is that at the bottom of the spout? The spout seems to be very deep and it would be difficult to fill the press till the top without grounds mixing with your coffee (without tilting the press towards the handle). One of the reviewers mentioned that its actually 40oz which I find hard to believe. In any case, if you get the chance would you mind measuring how much the press can hold?
Thanks a million.
Jean-Pierre Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-190975822506924947.post-85562102929702990852013-02-24T15:28:48.356-06:002013-02-24T15:28:48.356-06:00They all are pretty darn sharp! I say DEFINITELY give it a go! Play around with it. Some people like to remove the "bloom" from a poured cup and some leave it. What's a bloom, you say? It is the thin layer that forms on the top. I like to leave mine on and swirl it around. Try it both ways and see which you prefer!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05297860912099147822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-190975822506924947.post-43415026815717612852013-02-22T10:09:58.797-06:002013-02-22T10:09:58.797-06:00You just summed up the perfect trifecta: 1) you al...You just summed up the perfect trifecta: 1) you already love french press coffee 2) holds heat longer and 3) it's beautiful!
